Try out new behaviors, realizing they won't be comfortable at first
Monitor and measure progress
Adjust & modify your plan and your leadership style as you learn
Recognize that you will backslide. Go back to your plan and continue to measure your progress. Immediate perfection is not realistic. Sustained commitment is what counts.
