A model of change - some guidelines for personal development
  • Develop an awareness and understanding of the impact of your behavior
  • Accept responsibility for change
  • Develop a plan and stick to it
  • Try out new behaviors, realizing they won't be comfortable at first
  • Monitor and measure progress
  • Adjust & modify your plan and your leadership style as you learn
  • Recognize that you will backslide. Go back to your plan and continue to measure your progress. Immediate perfection is not realistic. Sustained commitment is what counts.
